Newborn and motherhood sessions here are centered on connection, calm, and the quiet moments that tend to pass too quickly. I work with families across Metro DC, Southern Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC, creating photographs that feel honest, intimate, and true to this season.

My approach is unobtrusive and candid. I don’t direct or over-style what’s happening — I leave space for real life to unfold. The way you hold your baby, the small gestures, the in-between moments you might not notice yet. That’s what I’m watching for.

There are two ways to document this time:

Birth Space Newborn Sessions

These sessions take place in your birth space — hospital, home, or birth center — during the first hours after your baby arrives. They are entirely documentary, focused on connection rather than posing, and designed to help you remember not just what it looked like, but how it felt in those first moments.

In-Home Newborn Sessions


For families who prefer a slower pace, newborn sessions can take place in the comfort of your home. These lifestyle sessions are relaxed and intimate, open to your immediate family, and centered on the rhythm of everyday life with a new baby.
