Zack & Jordan’s Marina Engagement Session - National Capitol Region Photography

Let me take you back to when I first connected with Zack & Jordan. It all started when their wedding planner Kate, from Simply Sapphire Events found me through a Facebook inquiry she posted. Despite lacking specifics, the initial message mentioned a DMV couple needing a wedding photographer. I left my contact information and carried on with my day. To my delight, I received a follow-up indicating that Zack & Jordan admired our photography style and wanted to schedule a call.

From there, everything fell into place seamlessly. Meeting Zack & Jordan solidified our excitement for their upcoming summer ceremony at THE RIVER VIEW, nestled within the scenic Occoquan Regional Park in Lorton, VA. Their laid-back vibe and genuine personalities make us eagerly anticipate capturing their special day.

My personal point of view is the best photos happen when the couple is totally chill. I always aim for that relaxed vibe because it shines through in the pics. So when Zack and Jordan wanted to have their engagement shoot at their cozy marina spot up in Northern, VA, Denniss and I were all in.

For us, it was important they felt right at home!
